Robert T. Johnson started this firm after helping his father navigate a drawn-out disability claim. What began as a solo practice on Colfax Avenue is now a seven-attorney office on Broadway, but the focus has not changed: SSDI and SSI cases only.

What we do

We prepare applications, gather medical evidence, respond to SSA requests, represent clients at hearings, and pursue appeals when necessary. Most clients never need to appear in a courtroom — disability work happens through forms, records, and administrative hearings.

Colorado's Disability Determination Services (DDS) reviews initial claims. If you are denied, the next meaningful opportunity is often the hearing before an Administrative Law Judge at the Lakewood hearing office.
